Tuesday, August 19, 2008 8:58 PM
So, we all know it's coming. It's been called Z-Day, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Night of the Dead Who Were Previously Living, and 100 other terrible names. What are you to do, though, when it really does happen. What are the best ways to escape these once...not dead creatures? I'll help you out.
Time For A Little R&R (By R&R, I mean review and rant.)

Let me give you a rundown of my life and then day to set up this blog. Firstly, since I was old enough to press shit, I have played video games. This has been a constant in my life, and at some points, it's lead me in the direction of trouble (here's to you high school GPA). Nevertheless, I love my video games. About 7 years ago, this monster of a black box came out and stole my heart. Yeah, I'm an Xbox fanboy, and even worse, I'm a Microsoft fanboy. Take that as you will. Let's just say my first child may or may not be named William Henry Gates the Third LaCombe.
The Dark Knight: Why is it made of win, you ask?
Tuesday, August 19, 2008 8:58 PM

Let's get this straight. I haven't really ever been the biggest fan of Batman. I was always more of a fan of the villains. By villains, I mean Jack Nicholson as the Joker or even Danny DeVito as that little Penguin fellow. I even disliked the "fanboy winfest" that was "Batman Begins". To me, Batman should be driving some extremely cheesy Batmobile and have all sorts of Bat-themed weapons that can beat the batshit crazy lunatics in, get this, bat-tle. This is not because I like terrible movies. No, it's because this heap of garbage is what I've been presented with growing up. Long gone were the days when Tim Burton had Keaton all blacked out and ready to roll. "The Dark Knight", however, has taken this love-hate relationship to a pure, "I promise not to sex up your sister!" relationship.
An Xbox Fanboy's Take on the New Hotness

If you have an undying love for all things Xbox, like I, then you probably have caught a bit of the news from their E3 Press Conference, and I must say that, while there are the good and bad announcements as always, I was swept away by the good. Final Fantasy XIII on my little green glowing friend? As it's been said before..."OMG MEGATON!!1!" But now that I've got that out of the way, I'd like to discuss the newer updates.
Louisiana: Against Performing Textual Acts?
Tuesday, July 15, 2008 11:26 AM
There is a war upon us. This war, my friends, is between the old faction and government and the new generation of phone junkies. Recently, Louisiana passed a law banning text messaging while driving for all residents and conversing on the phone for all residents under 18 (which obviously has no bearing on me because I have passed that age barrier). Now, I understand, of course, their reasoning behind this, but I still have to speak up. I, like all of you, get texts from someone every now and then while I drive, and I obviously don't want to have to pull over and answer it. What do you do in this situation? Text and drive. Why? Because since the beginning of time, we humans were given the talent to perform the skill "multi-tasking".
